One of only a few contemporary filmmakers to be honored with a MacArthur Fellowship, the Maya Deren Award of the American Film Institute, and Howard University’s Paul Robeson Award for outstanding achievement, Charles Burnett introduces a program of his work, including early short films and the feature Killer of Sheep. | Films are shown in the East Building Auditorium, 4th Street at Constitution Avenue NW. There is no charge for admission but seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Doors open approximately 30 minutes before each show time. Programs are subject to change.
